HCC won BEST IN SHOW at Comic-Con 2007!


We wore our Five Star Stories costumes and had a lot of fun doing it!

It still feels a little unreal right now and we are all very tired, but oh my... what an amazing experience and I feel so honored. San Diego Comic-Con International is always great because people in the masquerade are known for bringing not just their A game, but their A++ game. The competition is very tough and exciting. It's neat just hanging out backstage looking at all the completely amazing things people bring and show onstage! There's nothing like it ANYWHERE.

There's a lot of things to squee about, but I'll leave that for a post when I have pictures. One thing's for sure, though- I'm a complete FANGIRL for Underground Cosplay, now. Their skits are always top notch, but tonight, they did a Harry Potter skit that was a million different varieties of awesome. Can't wait for it to be on Youtube so everyone can enjoy it, too! Absolute classic.

P.S. My friends are so wonderful, Everyone should have some like them :)

Congrats! All of HCC's costumes are so elaborate and beautiful and I'm going to take full advantage of the tutorial and help tips on yours and the HCC sites. YAY!

I got to watch the masquerade in one of the extra viewing rooms, and got everyone all pumped up for your skit. :D We were so happy you guys won. Congratulations! And we really loved the Harry Potter Grease skit too. XDXDXD Hilarious stuff. :D

Hey, I'm from Underground Cosplay (I was the Hermione) and I just wanted to say that we loooooved your group so much! Those wigs were pretty much the most amazing thing I've ever seen. It was great to squee with you guys backstage, and congratulations on your Best in Show! I'm going to add you, if that's okay. I'd like to keep up on your cosplay adventures! :D
